A hearty baked ziti with ground beef, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cook ziti according to package directions. Drain.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain fat.
- Stir marinara sauce into the beef. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Combine cooked ziti with the cheese mixture.
- Layer half the ziti in a baking dish. Top with half the meat sauce.
- Repeat layers. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
Notes
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
- Freeze leftovers for up to 3 months.
