- 4 sweet potatoes (medium-sized, scrubbed clean)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for added flavor)
- 1 teaspoon salt (optional, for seasoning)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Pierce each sweet potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape during baking.
- If desired, rub each sweet potato with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper for added flavor.
- Place the sweet potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender and easily pierced with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Cooking time may vary based on the size of the sweet potatoes. Larger potatoes may require additional time.
- You can also wrap the sweet potatoes in aluminum foil for softer skin, but this will prevent the skin from getting crispy.
