- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 10 small flour or corn tortillas
- 1 packet taco seasoning (about 1 oz)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Cooking spray (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, taco seasoning, shredded cheese, and green onions until well combined.
- Warm tortillas in the microwave for 20-30 seconds to make them pliable.
- Place 2-3 tablespoons of filling in the center of each tortilla. Avoid overfilling.
- Roll tortillas tightly around the filling and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Lightly spray taquitos with cooking spray. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with extra green onions if desired. Serve with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.

- Add diced jalapeños or black beans for extra flavor.
- Use spicy taco seasoning or hot sauce for a spicier version.
- Taquitos can be frozen before baking. Add extra baking time if cooking from frozen.
