Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chicken strips with soy sauce and sesame oil. Marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  3. Add marinated chicken to the skillet. Cook until chicken is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add mixed vegetables to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Add to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
