Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg

  • 1 1/2 cups diced apples
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for crumble)
  • 1/4 cup flour (for crumble)
  • 2 tbsp cold butter (for crumble)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in diced apples.
  5. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full with batter.
  6. Make the crumble by mixing brown sugar, flour, and cold butter until crumbly.
  7. Sprinkle crumble over each muffin.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool before serving.
