Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup almond paste
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, almond flour, and salt.
  3. Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time.
  4. Mix in almond paste, vanilla, and almond extract.
  5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the batter.
  6. Pour batter into the dish. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.
