- 2 medium sweet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: dipping sauce of choice
Instructions
- Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Soak the sweet potato fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry with a paper towel.
- In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the sweet potato fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook the fries at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time for even crispiness.
- Once golden brown and crispy, remove the fries from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
