Juicy and perfectly cooked steaks made in the air fryer. Quick and easy, these steaks are a great option for a delicious weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks, about 1-inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the steaks and rub it in to ensure even coverage.
  4. Place the steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through. Adjust the time for your desired doneness.
  6. Remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature: 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare, 140°F (60°C) for medium.
  • For thicker steaks, increase the cooking time by a few minutes.
  • Allow the steaks to come to room temperature before cooking for even cooking.
