- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks, about 1-inch thick
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Drizzle olive oil over the steaks and rub it in to ensure even coverage.
- Place the steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through. Adjust the time for your desired doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature: 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare, 140°F (60°C) for medium.
- For thicker steaks, increase the cooking time by a few minutes.
- Allow the steaks to come to room temperature before cooking for even cooking.
