- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for spice)
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (for extra crunch, optional)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until well coated.
- If using, add breadcrumbs to the shrimp and toss to combine.
- Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure not to overcrowd the basket for even cooking.
- Air fry the shrimp for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the shrimp are cooked through and have a golden color.
- Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
- Adjust the seasoning to your taste; feel free to add more spices or herbs.
- For a healthier option, skip the breadcrumbs.
