Description
These air fryer peanut butter cookies are easy to make, soft, and deliciously chewy. With just a few ingredients, you can whip up a batch in no time!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on a piece of parchment paper.
- Using a fork, press down on each cookie to create a crisscross pattern.
- Carefully place the parchment paper with the cookies into the air fryer basket. Ensure the cookies are not touching.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may seem soft but will firm up as they cool.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool on the parchment for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a sweeter cookie, you can add chocolate chips or chopped nuts to the dough.
- Make sure to line your air fryer basket with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
