Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh okra, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal (optional for extra crunch)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine okra, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the okra is well coated.
  3. If using cornmeal, sprinkle it over the okra and toss again to coat.
  4. Place the okra in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the okra is crispy and golden brown.
  6. Serve hot as a snack or side dish.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add cayenne pepper to the seasoning mix.
  • Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
