Ingredients

- 1 lb fresh okra, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup cornmeal (optional for extra crunch)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine okra, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the okra is well coated.
- If using cornmeal, sprinkle it over the okra and toss again to coat.
- Place the okra in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the okra is crispy and golden brown.
- Serve hot as a snack or side dish.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add cayenne pepper to the seasoning mix.
- Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
