Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
  5. Line muffin cups with paper liners or grease them with cooking spray.
  6. Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter.
  7. Place the muffin cups in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not touch.
  8. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the muffins cool for a few minutes before removing them from the air fryer.
