Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
- Line muffin cups with paper liners or grease them with cooking spray.
- Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Place the muffin cups in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not touch.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool for a few minutes before removing them from the air fryer.
