  • 2 potatoes (cut into chips)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for spraying)

  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional for seasoning)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the potatoes into chips and soak them in water for 30 minutes. Drain and pat dry.
  3. Toss the chips in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Cook the chips for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through until golden and crispy.
  5. While the chips are cooking, prepare the fish. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten egg, and panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Season the fish fillets with salt, pepper, and paprika. Dredge each fillet in flour, dip in egg, and then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  7. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil and place the breaded fish fillets in a single layer.
  8. Air fry the fish for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway.
  9. Serve the fish and chips hot with tartar sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
