Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko recommended for extra crunch)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In a second bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Coat each chicken tender first in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure they stick.
- Place the breaded chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
- Cook in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
- You can add your favorite seasonings to the breadcrumb mixture for extra flavor.
- Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch, honey mustard, or BBQ sauce.
