Description
Juicy and flavorful chicken kabobs cooked to perfection in the air fryer. A quick and easy recipe that’s perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cubed chicken to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using to prevent burning.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Thread the marinated chicken, bell pepper, and red onion onto the skewers, alternating between chicken and vegetables.
- Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice golden color.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add additional vegetables like zucchini or cherry tomatoes.
- If you prefer a slightly charred flavor, you can broil the kabobs for 1-2 minutes after air frying.
- These kabobs can be served with rice, salad, or in wraps.
