Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken cutlets
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
- Dip each chicken cutlet into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush with olive oil.
- Place the coated chicken cutlets in a single layer in the basket, making sure they do not overlap.
- Spray the tops of the cutlets lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with a little olive oil.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the cutlets are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken cutlets in your favorite seasoning or Italian dressing for 30 minutes before breading.
- You can add herbs such as dried oregano or basil to the breadcrumb mixture for added flavor.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside a fresh salad.
