Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced into cutlets
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In a second shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third shallow bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken cutlet in the flour mixture, shaking off the excess.
- Dip the floured cutlet into the beaten eggs, allowing the excess to drip off.
- Finally, coat the cutlet with breadcrumbs, pressing down to adhere.
- Repeat with all cutlets.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Arrange the cutlets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray the top of the cutlets with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken cutlets in buttermilk for a few hours before breading.
- You can also add grated Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumbs for a cheesy twist.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of your cutlets; thinner cutlets will cook faster.
