Description
Juicy and flavorful burgers cooked to perfection in the air fryer, making them a quick and healthier option for a classic meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 hamburger buns
- Toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, ketchup, mustard (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making a small indentation in the center of each patty to ensure even cooking.
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not touch.
- Cook the burgers for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach your desired doneness (internal temperature should be 160°F/71°C for medium).
- If adding cheese, place a slice on each burger during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Remove the burgers from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Serve the burgers on toasted buns with your choice of toppings.
Notes
- For a leaner option, you can use ground turkey or chicken.
- Feel free to customize the seasonings based on your preference.
- Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the patties and the air fryer model.
