Description
Crispy and juicy breaded chicken cutlets made effortlessly in the air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Chicken cutlets (Pounded to even thickness)
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 2 Eggs (Beaten)
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch)
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- as needed Olive oil spray (For spraying the cutlets)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In three separate shallow bowls, set up your breading station: one with flour mixed with salt and pepper, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and paprika.
- Dredge each chicken cutlet in the flour, shaking off excess, then dip into the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Spray both sides of the breaded cutlets with olive oil spray.
- Place the cutlets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken cutlets in your favorite spices or buttermilk for a few hours before breading.
- Make sure to use Panko breadcrumbs for the best crunch.
- If cooking in batches, keep the cooked cutlets warm in a low oven while finishing the remaining cutlets.
