Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken cutlets (Pounded to even thickness)
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 Eggs (Beaten)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • as needed Olive oil spray (For spraying the cutlets)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In three separate shallow bowls, set up your breading station: one with flour mixed with salt and pepper, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and paprika.
  3. Dredge each chicken cutlet in the flour, shaking off excess, then dip into the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Spray both sides of the breaded cutlets with olive oil spray.
  5. Place the cutlets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken cutlets in your favorite spices or buttermilk for a few hours before breading.
  • Make sure to use Panko breadcrumbs for the best crunch.
  • If cooking in batches, keep the cooked cutlets warm in a low oven while finishing the remaining cutlets.
