Description
Crispy homemade banana chips made in an air fryer with minimal oil. A healthy snack alternative.
Ingredients

- 2–3 ripe bananas
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- 1 tsp coconut oil or cooking spray
- 1/8 tsp salt (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
- Slice bananas thinly (2-3mm) using a knife or mandoline.
- Toss slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.
- Arrange banana slices in a single layer in the basket.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, flip, then fry another 5-8 minutes until crisp.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon or salt while warm if desired.
- Let cool completely before storing.
Notes
- Use barely ripe bananas for best texture.
- Thinner slices yield crispier chips.
- Store in airtight container for up to 1 week.
