- 4 Medium russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- to taste Butter
- to taste Sour cream
- for garnish Chives
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and scrub the potatoes under cold water. Dry them thoroughly.
- Poke several holes in each potato with a fork to allow steam to escape.
- Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Cook for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the potatoes are tender and the skin is crispy.
- Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Cut open and fluff the insides with a fork. Add butter, sour cream, and garnish with chives as desired.
Notes
- Cooking time may vary based on the size of the potatoes. Adjust as needed.
- For extra crispy skin, you can increase the cooking time by a few minutes.
