Perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, these air fryer baked potatoes are a quick and easy side dish.


Ingredients

  • 4 Medium russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • to taste Butter
  • to taste Sour cream
  • for garnish Chives

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and scrub the potatoes under cold water. Dry them thoroughly.
  3. Poke several holes in each potato with a fork to allow steam to escape.
  4. Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  6. Cook for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the potatoes are tender and the skin is crispy.
  7. Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
  8. Cut open and fluff the insides with a fork. Add butter, sour cream, and garnish with chives as desired.

Notes

  • Cooking time may vary based on the size of the potatoes. Adjust as needed.
  • For extra crispy skin, you can increase the cooking time by a few minutes.
