Description

A quick and easy air fryer recipe for sticky Asian-style chicken with a sweet and savory glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 green onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade and coat evenly. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Flip chicken and cook for another 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. In a small pan, mix cornstarch and water. Add the remaining marinade and cook until thickened.
  7. Brush the glaze over the cooked chicken and sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

  • For crispier chicken, pat thighs dry before marinating.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spiciness.
