- 4 medium apples (Granny Smith or Fuji recommended)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1/4 cup oats (optional for topping)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Core the apples and slice them into wedges.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, oats (if using), and vanilla extract.
- Add the apple wedges to the mixing bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the cinnamon mixture.
- Place the coated apple wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the apples are tender and caramelized.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve warm, optionally topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
- For an added crunch, sprinkle some chopped nuts on top before air frying.
- Adjust the sugar and cinnamon to taste based on your preference.
