Ingredients

  • 4 medium apples (Granny Smith or Fuji recommended)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup oats (optional for topping)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Core the apples and slice them into wedges.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, oats (if using), and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the apple wedges to the mixing bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the cinnamon mixture.
  5. Place the coated apple wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the apples are tender and caramelized.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and serve warm, optionally topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
