- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add salsa and mix well.
- Return chicken to the skillet, coating it with the cheese sauce.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
