Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in lemon juice, zest, and chicken broth. Scrape up browned bits.
- Stir in butter until melted.
- Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
- Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor.
- Chicken is done when internal temperature reaches 165°F.
